Heard back from tutors and course leader. I've been given a second chance at submission just need to redo 5 sections within a certain date. Popped into my placement spoke to ward manager who has said no problem we'll get it done don't worry about it...... Phew!! So relieved. I'm having a little drink tonight I can tell you. Home off holiday but feel like I can just start to enjoy it back to placement Monday!

Thanks LindsD. Can't believe how stressful its been lately. A lesson learned about pad submissions though that's for sure! And definitely do not take a don't worry about it as gospel.
Next exam result 1st July *bites fingernails*

Next placement starts Tuesday. It's day surgery and I hate surgical nursing. Next essay due following Monday.

Hello all... I've been a bit quiet as new job has taken up alot of head space. I'm loving it. ALOT. So much so that I'm now desperate to stay at the end of my contact (still a year away) which has put the pressure on. I've no idea if I'm doing ok. I've tried asking and get a you're doing good! I've made a few daft mistakes (allocating placements but mixing the year groups up so have to start again). Last night crazy cat lady met imposter syndome...I couldn't sleep as I couldn't tune my work cat. Everyone else on the team could tune theirs. Mine just would not purr in tune. It made for a long night. 🤦♂️
At least I'm enjoying it. I just need to get my anxiety back on its box!
