Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We were only asked to do one timetable option. They took the decision to maintain hybrid pretty early, although I suspect students won't be entirely happy if we do get our cases down by then.

we've got all onsite, all online, one 'essential' module onsite only, large classes online only. University approach is 70%/30% but that hasn't really been applied in my School.

They couldn't really say anything else, they'd already left it too late.

My friend has been asked to run the testing again in her local secondary - followed by weeks of exam invigilation... At least it's work after nothing at all last year. I do feel sorry for the pupils though as every year group is having formal exams in the sports hall.

That seems like a recipe for disaster fraggle.

People were asking at work if students will still be masking in Sept. Although it looks like they won't be required to, I expect they will. At least the Asian students, who were much more likely to wear masks even before covid.

Oh, and having been asked to do one timetable option, they're now asking for a revised version with more in person teaching.
