For a while I've been using run-walk on long slow plods. Garmin Connect tells me how long I spent running and how long walking and the overall average pace, but not the breakdown for average run pace and walk pace separately. I've spent ages looking on the Garmin log or for an add-on to tell me this. And have just discovered that it's been on Fetch all along, in plain sight. If I want any other stat in future, I'll know to look here first |

@Muttley - I spotted that a little while ago. It's been very useful to know how much of my run/walks are run and less walk, as time goes on.

It's only been in for a few months or maybe the last year. It's a really interesting breakdown. G

What puzzles me is that the data is obviously contained in the workout file but Garmin for some reason choose not to display it. Unless there's a way to access it that I'm unaware of. The reason I want to know is that I'm eyeing a multiday offroad event in which the cutoff time is 5 km per hour, ie 20 minute miling near as dammit. The terrain is tough so on training runs I like to know how far ahead of that I am, or not, even when not running. |

That's almost exactly what Fetch invented it for, because on his ultra (Escape from Meridien (sp?) ) this weekend he wanted to know what the breakdown of run/walk would normally be for ultras. Good luck with your multiday off road event Muttley. Sounds ace! G
