Pix - you 'do' sound to have got into something of a training habit. Yes? Swimming next week will be doubly useful for you I guess - you need to anyway for tri purposes AND it's perfect pre mara.
PROVISO - I know a bit about training but not much about marathons -or triathlons come to that.

You too Rae. Love the way you've recommitted to stuff rather than let it slide. That's not easy. Dog walks- tick. Weights - tick. Plus 'I feel fine today so will go back to team training tomorrow), and project joker will start tonight!'
There you go girl!

Sharkie I agree it will do need the swimming (tomorrow will "finish" my swimathon too so I can get a medal!) and it's non impact so nice exercise for Sunday! Then the week after I will have to swim to recover as I expect to be stiff on Monday! LOL

I believe it’s covered by the education exemption Sharkie. Plus we only have 5 people in the studio and the teacher, wear masks, have allocated seats and have acres of space to play with and both doors open. I’ll be needing thermals soon! They’ve spent all summer doing risk assessments and mitigation so it is unbelievably well documented. To be fair the age profile tends to be higher in adult education so they need to be cautious. We also wash our hands every few minutes because they’re covered in clay! So I’d be surprised if they cancelled.
The caretaker at the centre is so lovely. He rebuilt the damp cupboard over the summer and when my teacher went in to reorganise and clean the whole studio (which must have taken weeks and weeks) he lent her a kettle and microwave. Such a sweet bloke

And that's impressive at your centre - are the other classes there re-organised so well? Lots of people have worked very hard, been inventive and problem solving so that good things can happen.

I have FINALLY unpacked and started using my new sewing machine, only had it for four weeks! Making cushion covers for the recently decorated bedroom before making a dress
*wonders what idea Sharkie has*
