I didn’t manage to progress the pond today, I had only planned to shop for the pond liner, sand and bits and bobs but didn’t get the opportunity, will shop in the morning and hopefully get the liner in and filled.

I am working on a running route incorporating all the best local climbs (sadly a good chunk of it is tarmac, and it is going to be pretty much all runnable) basically linking trig points and highest points visible from the valley. I might have a run round in coming days. Only problem is the route is growing and growing

DT sounds good
Another 4 miles with SweetPea. Soggier than expected, but I do like walking n talking. I've found that out best conversations are when moving. It used to be when driving to and from school/activities. That hasn't happened for a good few months. It's the same with Marigold too.

Good work, Starters! Second day is much more difficult (doesn't have to be consecutive days). That thing about taking the first step is the hardest - not necessarily true. If you want to do something you do sort of have to keep at it. Er, obviously.

I have started the first of my four books for this month.
I've chosen all four books - one I've had for TEN years and ony ever read a quarter of (it's a long book ) I'm starting that again and will finish it THIS MONTH. Two books are (older) children's ones and part of a now finished series. (NOT Harry Potter. Pur-lease) They'll be easy.
Fourth book I bought from Sainsbury's today for bargain £4.95. It's Bernadine Evaristo's Girl, Woman, Other and that's the one I started after tea. 100 pages in.

I have also received my September training plan form my coach. I asked for more gym and plyo work and some hurdle stuff. So she put it in. Just working out what I will do at Lee Valley tomorrow. I need a choice of Heptathlon related 30-45 minute blocks - I will then make a choiceof three depending on what's availiable when I'm there.
It's a bit complicated and I've left it a bit late in more ways than twenty three. Good job I like a challenge....

WA - those walks sound great. Agree that it's good talking time. (And starting a new job is definitely different!)

That’ll be something new if I manage it! 1300 is my highest ever yearly mileage before this year.
