I received an email from Nicetri advertising the race, so yesterday I asked the following questions:
"1. Why are entries being opened so early this year? 9 months in advance seems excessive, given that the likelihood of entrants being forced to drop out over such a long period is quite high.
2. Will there be a transfer policy as in previous years, and if so how will that work?
3. Is any of this related to the fact that the entry limit is now 1,500, which will make the first few miles extremely congested? Even with 1,000, those miles were quite crowded on roads still open to traffic (the mobile cycling marshals did a fantastic job in 2014 but I doubt they could safely manage traffic with such a large number of runners)."
to which Keith replied today: "There will be road closures in place this year. There will be transfer system in place until 6 weeks prior to the event."

the loss of the ability to transfer entries up to the day of the race is harsh I do not understand the reasoning behind closing transfers so early
