Can I ask. Are you on facebook ? Would you mind leaving your comment about what makes it so good on the riverside half group ? If not can I copy and share it ?

Huge Fetchfest today. Lovely to meet lots of you and a great laugh was had by all.
Pleased to have sort of helped Bint to a PB and very happy with 1:38:18 which is fastest for almost 5 years (still got to find 2 mins from somewhere...)
Nice race, excellent marshalls and good tech shirt. But those last 3 miles aren't as downhill as I expected A good craigh all round.

Brilliant day! I got my coveted sub 1:40 and I got to meet a whole load of lovely Fetchies both old and new (to me - rather than in age, though I did finally meet HoD Junior who is adorable)
I do love this race. Well worth the silly o'clock alarm this morning. I agree about the marshalls and it's a nice touch having your name printed on your number. I got so many shout outs from spectators.

Great going, Ceratonia! Yup I'd just have been slowing you down then, as it goes. Grunty Fen is pretty much autumn, but I think you're right about the weather being the difference - when it's not warm, it's usually windy and there is nowhere to hide from that.

I really enjoyed this race, it had a very nice friendly atmosphere about it. I agree about the names printed on the numbers, was great to hear shouts of encouragement from the marshalls. As a quite new Fetchie it was great to meet some other Fetchies for the first time and spent quite a lot of time shouting 'Fetch' at people. I had an amazing race and knocked 7 mins off my PB, getting under the elusive 2 hour barrier for the first time, the conditions really were perfect for it

Home Scrubbed and ginger bath soaked I did not get a PB - it was not in my legs - I will blog my thoughts on that later and do a proper race blog tomorrow as I have to go to work BUT - it was an ace day - loved meeting Fetchies old & new (same definition as Bint), enjoyed the race even if it didn't quite to plan, despite lovely company from Flatlander. I need to do it again when I can see the scenery though!!
