Welcome GorgeousEd
Runningmumof3boys, feel free to post part or all of my comment on fb. Although after a nice afternoon nap, I realise I could also have mentioned the t-shirt, the names on our numbers, the excellent commentary over the PA at the finish and maybe even the course itself, which is neither in St. Neots nor beside a river

TGE, for your first Half that was an immense run! You paced it perfectly. As a lot of more experienced runners were starting to flag you just looked like you were pushing on and feeling good. Well done, mate.

TheGorgeousEd actually listened to everyone who told him not to go off too fast, we ALL did that at our first HMs even though we had that same advice, so I'm very impressed at his cleverness in actually doing it!

Nor did I but I had the pacing help of an experienced Fetchie that day (Thanks NBFS). That's part of why I love being able to do pacing for anyone else when I can. What goes around comes around, innit?
That, and Fetchies are good company.
