The last time I used my soup maker the blending bit didn’t work. Hoping it was having an off day. Don’t want to have to buy a new one.

That isn't one of them and I can't remember if I've posted it before but I find Liana's recipes are usually quite reliable: lianaskitchen.co.uk There's a FB page too.

todays effort was OK but not great mainly because it was a rush job of left over carrot (1 maybe 2!) and a pepper with veg stock then I threw in some "soup mix" of split peas and pasta once in the thermos

was a bit watery and lacked flavour so now googling more recipes and printing the ones above

Tried carrot and ginger today and was pleasantly surprised. A little thin but tasty. Would probably add some cannellini beans or potato if I made it again and wanted to thicken it.

It was a warming soup for a cold, wet day.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
It’s got to that time of the year when soup is king!

Last winter I was wfh and happily heated up soup knowing that no one would know if I was late back to work (not that I took breaks anyway!).

Now I’m back in the office I’m reluctant to use the tiny kitchen as it’s well used and little cleaned. So thought I’d dig out my food flask and take hot soup/ food in with me. This also allows warm food post lunchtime walk or run.

Which leads me to ….. soup makers.

To buy or not ...
