Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I did have a sneaky peek at the dictionary and spotted xanthopetal before heading out, but the other two were completely random finds on route 😀

I’ve taken odd flower and nature pics but the Latin names never coincided with the days letter (and were always earlier in the dictionary)

Like Soo, i consulted the dictionary for likely Xs and came up with:

Xanthophylls (the yellow pigments found in most leaves, usually you can’t see it due to the green chlorophyll. Also found in egg yolks, yellow fruits etc)

Xeric (adapted to a dry habitat)

I was lying in bed wondering what to do and I looked out of the window and saw the lock! Went a bit closer when I started my run
