Good work everyone. Woodpecker is my favourite as I’ve hardly ever seen them.

I've thought about swallows and woodpeckers on the relevant days, but chances of a decent photo were zero (for me, anyway!. We are fortunate to have green woodpeckers near here and their "laughing" call sounds right across the fields.

Did you know the laugh is a ‘yaffle’? Professor Yaffle was given that name for a reason (presumably)

Did you pick up the vibe I really don’t fancy ‘X’ and I’m already thinking about ‘Y’?

I've a couple of ideas for Y but pretty much nothing for X! There might be something in Holmfirth, so that's where I'm heading on my walk later. I think I'll have more chance with shops /commercial buildings/ signs than with more fields, sheep and stone walls
