Whatever happened to David Harmon? Not everyone's cup of tea I know but he had some great chats with Sean about nothing in particular during boring flat stages, one about the worst prizes in sportivs had me giggling - tin of emulsion paint, free haircut in South Shields etc.

He took an extended break in 2013, not sure what happened after that. velovoices.com |

No idea that Kreuziger just about to be banned - no good for Giro. Not sure why Tinkoff Saxo are persisted with him (reminder no rider has ever won an appeal against biological passport irregularities that they lost initially) although his defence is hypo-thyroidism... velonews.competitor.com |

Non-runner - he had to take an extended period off work with depression, and is concentrating on his other business interests. Shame that he's not around any more. I've met and ridden with him a few times and he's a top man and proper gent! |

I thought Kreuziger won his case, and it's an appeal by UCI rather than him, hence why he is allowed to race (that was decided by CAS).

Yeah, article says what I said. He can't be ban if he's won the case. If the thinking is that national federations are bias, then maybe the UCI needs a body to hear doping cases. If the NFs haven't got the expertise to handle the case, I'm not sure how you deal with that. |

Ah ok - cheers SPR. Also found this quote from Luke Rowe... which makes me a drugs cheat (paracetamol): "So, on doping, what’s his definition of a clean rider? “A clean rider is a rider who takes nothing sport-enhancing. Absolutely nothing: anything sport-enhancing is a benefit over the other riders. So, take nothing.” That includes painkillers too. “You’re still getting an advantage over other people. I think there’s no doubt, doping is on the decline. It’s different to what it was ten years ago or whatever. I don’t think people can argue with that. But there is still an issue – a massive issue" |

That's a pretty strict definition of clean.
