I just put mine in the pot without anything at all. I am idle. Tastes nice but it does completely fall to pieces.

I love my slow cooker... I put enough in for three meals (There's just me). Then put it on as I leave for work then fall in the door 12 hours later for dinner. I then split it and save the remainder for the next days dinner! Liking the recipes on here. Normally find things on pintrest but going to try some of these. :-)

The biggest problem with a slow cooker i've found it going out all day then coming back opening the door and smelling nothing, then realising I haven't turned it on or stupidly turned it off at the mains without thinking. But that's just me being a complete numpty :)

I’ve just put a beef stroganoff in our slow cooker for Wednesday’s dinner. It’s a Joe Wicks recipe I’ve adapted and the first time I’ve not followed a specific slow cooker recipe.
