Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thank you for your get wells, I'm still quite coughy but in the mend I think. Didn't parkrun this morning as most locally were off which made my decision easy! Although I had already decided not to I think.

Hope you are all well, good luck today fragile

Aww Mandy, it can't be helped, hope you have it sorted now. X

I achieved my aim of completing 4 laps which is just shy of 18 miles, a great improvement on my previous longest run of 14 miles! I decided to use a run/walk ratio of 5/1 and that worked really well. It was a great event and well worth doing.

Ahhh that's brilliant news - hope the horrid Betteshanger wind wasn't to cold for you. Literally just finished clearing up and about to take the dog out.

Wow! Well done Frag! Kept wondering how you were getting on (roads being much better today I knew you would be going). Super well done on the four laps though! Glad you enjoyed it!

Nusto - it was freezing out this morning, still is, you are best staying in the warm so a good thing they cancelled parkrun.

DQ you are hardcore! Been wondering how bad it was up there for you guys.

We are back home now, came home via Mr Lemon's Dad's, lovely meal there so we are now well fed and back home. The running kit from Thursday is now in the washing machine and I'm gradually unpacking, we seem to take far too much with us and always end up buying clothes down there too! Early night for us tonight as some people in the hotel got a bit carried away last night and woke everyone else up middle of the night! Bet they had sore heads this morning though!

Don't think I have worn so much clothes the run for ages! Long sleeved top with sleeves over hands, parkrun 100 shirt, jacket, gloves, buff round neck, polar buff on head! The gloves came off but everything else stayed firmly in place :-O

Well done to all the brave people being outside in this weather!

I have my fitbit now but I nearly fell over doing the school run so I haven't ventured out! Somehow hit 10000 steps yesterday from pacing! I've done a few mini indoor runs and some stepping on the bottom stair to get my heart rate up.

Tea's ready - better go. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone!
