I'm the same Lem. Someone keeps betting on me for parkrun. Please save your credits whoever it is! I'm running 4 or 5 minutes on my 5k PB time so no hope of that being broken in the foreseeable future! :(

It will all come out in the wash :) I am also unlikely to beat my 5 mile time. At least it is not real cash.

I only ever bet from the proper betting page do you can see who is looking likely, not from profiles. I expect people are doing it for fun and more advent entries so won't worry about it.

Hark the Helegant Angels Sing
Normally I would only bet on someone who has predicted a PB. However, today my finger may just have slipped while looking at the SAP 5 mile page ;-) But it's OK, I can afford to lose occasionally.

Are the SAP Club - Monthly Virtual Mile (2017 series) races up yet? I can't find them.

decorum
Same here ~ bet notification but, unfortunately, I've not been running very often for the past six weeks due to issues with repeated pancreatic flaring. Even if I do run a new PB is slightly on the wrong side of near impossibility.

BUT, having read the bumph ... if I do run and it's a deferral of success all I need do is not enter the time for just over a week and the poor soul gets their bid tokens back ~ same goes if I don't run, they're reimbursed :-)

I'm guessing that making the bet is the important bit and that not logging a time doesn't affect their chance of winning what's behind the ACW.

Saying that, I don't feel pressured to push further or harder than is sensible for me at this time.

Helegant - not yet - was going to check if everyone still likes the distances and wants them to continue - I take it that's a yes if you are looking for them! I'll sit down put them on asap and also still owe you all a blog for the November races. medal

Merry LG
I did wonder why I suddenly had some betting done on my weekend..I haven't opened today's advent door yet.
No matter what hope everyone has a good weekend and don't let Christmas stress you out.
Oh and have some virtual snow
