A Wombling Merry Christmas (Welsh W
snow

NUMPTY ALERT

For those that need a laugh - tonight I set out to do my intervals - I thought I had to do 5x800m when in fact I should have been doing 4x800m however I did neither!!

I picked the wrong session on my Garmin (ok it was dark and I probably do need to get my eyes tested again) and didn't even know until I downloaded my run.

So when I thought I was running faster, I was actually running a slower version of last Friday's which was 5x500m.

Now waiting for my PT to get back to me to advise on what I should now be doing on Thursday (i.e. planned session or what I should have done tonight).

Oh well, I ran 2 miles and am now only 6 miles off 200 - every cloud has a silver lining ;-)

Evening all! What's this about Womble being a numpty? Totally understandable though, my eyes are bad! I'm very short sighted but now think I need varifocals as am struggling to read up close now too! Even worse in contact lenses which I use for running, so I often glance at my Garmin but haven't a clue what it says! Anyway Womble you are just marvellous for getting out and doing some running! medal.

LG glad your new specs are better, always good to be able to see properly. A, I to take it from DQ or DD that you ran earlier today? Good work if so!

Tonight I have been mostly wrapping up presents. I know some folks get all creative at this task but honestly it's not my strong point so I just wrap quickly and get it over with! Got to take one gift back, a t shirt from H&M and just as I was about to wrap it I noticed the collar has several small holes in it, so now we've got to go back to the shops when I thought we were done with them. Bummocks!

Nice pic m4p. :)

Wom, you'll smash it next time. If I wasn't away at the end of Jan I might have come and joined you for that race.
Glad everyone else is coping with all the manic-ness (is that a word?) of the time of year.

However I've yet to find a non animal tested vegan purple hair dye, so those days are probably over.

I run past a house in town that is painted purple and even all the woodwork on it and the gate is purple, the flowers in the front borders are mainly purple and they have a purple Fiesta too - I think of you when I run past!
