m4p, great that you're improving each time at parkrun. :)

Lem, faster's good, be even better if you manage to get out a bit more. :)

mulbs, it is indeed the Thames Bridges Challenges. There is an on-going thread for it but I can't remember how to put a link in here for it.

Ion, I did my Christmas 10k today and came home with a Christmas pudding as well as a shiny new PB of between 2 & 3 minutes. :) It was a beautiful day for it today too. B-)

Glad to hear parkrun went well purps, did you enjoy it?

I did, I thought I was really plodding. We had been out the night before at Grid's running club Christmas party and I had danced a lot and had 5 vodkas (I rarely drink) so I wasn't expecting a good time. I wasn't hungover, but I didn't feel my best. I was laughing saying it didn't really matter my time as my wava would be better with it being my birthday. How funny then to realise that I was going to finish within 40 minutes. I even managed a 'sprint' finish. I have a lovely photo of Grid and me after, I look well chuffed. I'll upload it soon.

Nutso Lazytoad!
MFP Well done :)

L10 that's hard work showing :)

Angel fab rewards there for a terrific pb :)

I survived pieathlon, it was cold I was a Christmas tree it was muddy there were many hills I live to tell the tale. It was slow and I am very sore today! Onwards and upwards, seems to take a few weeks for my body to get back into running post hols! Feels very hard and slow at the moment, but plenty of parkruns before and after Christmas.

Nice summary Nut. :)

mulbs, I don't know how the "speed" happened, I'm sure you could run faster if you tried. ;-)

Did a hilly session with club tonight. It was a slope we had to keep going up and down - 1st lamp-post, 2nd lamp-post, 3rd lamp-post, rest. Repeat another 4 times but go to the 4th lamp-post on the final set. :-p
