Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ref spent 83 minutes giving Scotland everything so they shouldn't be too critical

I think France stopped Scotland scoring during the yellow card period, and that felt like the turning point.

Also how young does LBB look? :-)

Classic case of why TV replays are shite. Ref says No Try. Game ends. Done. TV says hmmmmm. Casts doubt. Not difinitive 99% is no good. Ban TV replays.

Ironically if the ref had said try then there wasn’t enough evidence to turn it over either.

I’m happy with the principle of TV confirming the on field call (even if I think Scotland were unlucky).

99%? So what was the ball sitting on?

Disagree : don't ban them because every so often we get a controversial decision despite the majority of TV decisions being good

The ball was clearly on a boot, which was on the line. Pictures showed the ball moved off the boot, but not shown on the ground. Suspect it was grounded in front of the line anyway.

It's probably sitting on the ground. Except nobody can see it.

No try!

Oh yes. Ref says try. Game done. Scotland win.

Ban TV replays. Let the ref referee. Controversy is good. This is just annoying.

Also it’s not clear if there’s still control of ball even if grounded over the line
