Balanced, but I’d be more comfortable with that team playing on a dry day in April than a February deluge in Edinburgh.
Also is EJ aping the South African ‘bomb squad’ by having the better scrummaging front row on the bench?
This is going to be an intriguing (and nervy) match.

Agreed to a large extent. But it’s still a better team than most of his.

For the women's comp, I really hope that England don't dominate to the extent they have in recent years, and not just because they're England but because it's not great for the sport. Other countries are starting to step up and treat their women's squads with more respect, but England still have such a headstart that I fear nobody will catch them this year

Now that Wales women have some professional contracts I expect they may start to become competitive in the next couple of years Raemond. England should be applauded for promoting the women's game and deserve to be ahead. Hopefully the standard of all of the home nations teams (particularly Wales from my point of view) will improve and lead to a greater following. Unfortunately this year England are so far ahead of anyone else that I don't see it being much of a competition.

France have made it difficult for the Roses in recent games, but I can't see past England again this year. As an England fan, I'll enjoy it while I can.

Agree can see France - England women being a closer match but think England should have it.
Really unsure how England men's will get on , not expecting much to be fair.

I agree Mr Rubble, England's dominance has been deserved while they've been the only ones really investing in their women, but as a cymrwess it's always saddened me.
Hopefully, if too late for this year's 6N, Wales will be in a much better place in time for the world cup in the autumn.
For the boys... Who knows. I don't rate our chances against Ireland today particularly, but nor did I last year and we did well enough in the end.

Watched the U20 game on catch up. Closer than the score suggests, nothing in it after an hour. Difference was probably the 3 worldies we scored running it from our 22.
In the mood now, long run done so ready to sofa surf.
