Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

England just getting a bit too excited at times instead of keeping things simple.

Agree, they really don't need to get giddy when they are camped in Scotland's 22.

Scotland good and disciplined in defence, which is contributing to us trying too much. Few wasteful kicks from us too.

We need to hope this possession wears them down late for the finishers to swing it

Unless the law has changed the Scotland try came from an illegal quick line out as the ball had been touched off the pitch by the player who didn't throw it in.

Oh well Cest la vie

England unlucky to be behind at the half for my money.

I don’t think Scotland have even been defending all that well. Awful clearance kicking. Suppose they have got bodies in the way but it’s really English failures more than Scottish grit I’d say.

Awfully slow from Youngs in the first half. Daly has been anonymous and Marchant doesn't look fit after covid. Still think the pack is missing a proper heavy carrier. I'd move Simmonds to 6 and bring on Dombrandt in the second half.

Oddly I think the second half will be both teams being told 'more of the same' .

Scotland will look to home advantage and England's inexperience due to injury and find a few moments of genius

England just keep the pressure on keep Scotland pinned and if Smith can hit a couple of drop goals that will ease it for them

OK been on walkabout but off we go on 5th Feb with Ireland v Wales.
Hopefully we will all be playing at the correct grounds and with more than a few spectators to cheer, sing, not make too much of an arse of themselves through too much of what makes them lose themselves.

Thread title has been changed so thanks for that whoever updated it.
