Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I don't remember ever seeing Scotland play with such discipline. Its normally all so much about passion...cliché .... rugby rains in full flow

Except that drop goal attempt at the end. 90s to play. All they had to do was keep it in and they took a risk.

While Scotland played very well and England badly, Scotland got away with a few let offs and with only a single score in it could so easily have thrown it away. Hmmm, nailbiting stuff! :-) G

AG I remember being at the Rec many times when play was at the opposition end Coochie would come over lean on the bill boards for a chat until someone told him be was needed or okay was coming back.

Great guy and character.

That drop goal had me shouting at the TV and the family bemused

Just before it I said -- this is where some idiot tries to do a brave run, drops the ball and it gets run up for a try -- too much history as a Scotland fan. My head said 'stuff it up your jumper' but I kinda liked the confidence

21 years in - 12 pro rugby teams and they just don't seem to improve, or at least don't improve as much as the other 5

Johnson, living proof a great player doesn't make a great coach or pundit.

Thank god that is all over.

Not really a fan of national anthem karaoke. That said...

COME'ON IRELAND 🇮🇪

About This Thread

Maintained by Dai Bank
OK been on walkabout but off we go on 5th Feb with Ireland v Wales.
Hopefully we will all be playing at the correct grounds and with more than a few spectators to cheer, sing, not make too much of an arse of themselves through too much of what makes them lose themselves.

Thread title has been changed so thanks for that whoever updated it.
