I know the current climate is scary and uncertain. In our family we have two people who work in hospitality, a GCSE student and a high risk person.
However, I have been trying to find Silver Linings in the dark.
Yesterday, having to work from home, I was able to run at lunch time, not at 05:00 in the dark, meant I wasn't Utterly terrified to go into this beautiful forest I live in!
Then today, I woke up without the aid of an alarm! For the last, probably 7 or 8 years, a Saturday morning has always been parkrun, or gliding... Always with an alarm!
I was awake before either my 622 (gliding) or parkrun alarms, but I hope that will change as I get used to it!
So, let's think positive, what's your Silver Lining in the dark?

I'm using less fuel because I'm not driving to flatter running routes and with running on the mountain trails I'm getting stronger. Looking forward to running on the flat again to see how that strength translates into speed 😉

Having been laid off on Wednesday, I’m not stressing about childcare over the next few weeks (months?).
My veg garden is being dug over for the first time in 5 years.
We’re also using a lot less fuel.

Yes, hadn't thought about the fuel saving, although I do love driving my little car!
There's going to be no stopping you Trin!

A lot of my favourite restaurants are now offering takeaway and delivery options. I will be supporting them as much as I can.

I’m also doing hardly any driving, after driving around 25000 miles a year, saving myself and the charity I work for money. This also gives me more working time. A huge plus for me has to be the environmental impact too.

CK2 I also drive around for a charity. Which I absolutely love, but yes, I'm getting so much more work done just sat in front of my computer!
