I might finally get through all the veg from my veg box. I have time and incentive to plan meals around what’s in the fridge already.

We have two out of three sons back home. One is now saving fuel and one is terminating an expensive flat rental in Cardiff. It's comforting to have them around at this time

Live streaming of gigs! I've 'been' to 3 this week. Donated to their pages too.

Saving fuel is a bonus. Walking on the beach early. I also have time to cook proper meals.

One of my RBL branches had a live stream last night for their members via Facebook, first one I had seen, I shall have to see if I can find any others! Thanks for the heads up 1s2f x

Life for me has been 100mph for years, esp weekends. I’m enjoying not being maxed out from the moment of waking to sleep.

Example is I have 4/5 little DIY jobs. Normal mode would be to crash through them in one hit, as fast as possible, to keep the rest of my time open.

Not now, did a couple yesterday at leisurely pace, another today planned. Maybe leave the rest till next w/e.

May struggle to get back the intensity when this is over! Also feels like a glimpse into retirement in 6-8 years!

I’ve been cooking more and wasting less food, not that I didn’t try not to waste food before. I got the juicer and bread maker out of the cupboard. It kind of feels like when I was at home with kids when they were small, only without the cleaning up shit and reading bedtime stories.
Unfortunately I still don’t like cooking very much.

Oh and my patio is nearly finished so we can enjoy it over the next few months. It was pretty manky before but will be lovely.
I have plenty of time to garden, my garden has been neglected these last few years.
I bought clay so can spend time making pottery :)

Well done for finishing the patio DrP!

TRO I'm the same, slowing down is hard, I fill my life with so much, work, volunteering, sport... But I think I could get used to it 😂 I've regressed back to playing with yarn, something past me used to really enjoy... Another silver lining!
