Glad you're better.

Sadly he got hit by a car so the vet thinks we originally thought the bully of cat had attacked Dewi. But I found him early as only been out maybe 45 minutes and hiding under garden chair He had two wounds on back end and breathing was awful and tried to hide under my bed.Straight on to vets and waited hours vet telling me he is in bad way and to put him to sleep! or go to emergency vet over night so we took him there. They asked what to do if heart stops it really was touch and go but he made it through night.Back to vets and ring after lunch and we could take him home! back to vets today. He is in a cage to make sure no jumping etc but a long road to go as he has broken ribs and he had fluid in lungs but that once drained was okay and did not refill.

Stress levels have been through the roof.

WP - oh poor cat, it's horrible seeing a pet in pain. Hope he makes a full recovery.

No wonder you were stressed.

WP-Sorry to hear about the cat, hope it's ok.
So I've decided to line up on Saturday and see how it goes, not expecting wonders.
They do have a tracker, but not much use as I'll be out for a while, but if anyone's interested you can check I'm still moving.

Ian - good to hear you're going to run on Saturday.

You'll still do a lot better than I will on Sunday, not that that's much consolation 🙃

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
