The Mighty Fleecy
This thread is my new favourite :)

Today I am going to Rebound which I love :)
Then I’m picking up TeeBee and taking her to the Iow and we are going running and then out to dinner :)

I didn’t do too much for myself yesterday, except some rushed yoga.

As I said, I will run later. This morning, on the way to work, I listened to music my Dad liked

The Scribbler
What a lovely idea. Reading this thread has made me appreciate that I do a lot for me everyday. Today I did my regular PT training session. I'll go for a walk at lunchtime, read some of my book and go to bed when I'm ready.

Mazlin
I’ve been thinking about this after I read Sprintie’s (sorry. That’s what I’m calling you now) blog. I’m a bit like her in that you could say everything I do that isn’t dog or work related is all about ME. But a lot of those things (endless social media scrolling, excessive chocolate consumption) aren’t positive. So maybe for me, self care is doing things I need, but not things I want. Hmm. Further consideration needed.

Mazlin, I can relate to that

I have another bad bout of reflux which I can blame on the sinusitis 5 weeks ago. Although the medication may have been a trigger so is the stress of being made redundant, consumption of chocolate, wine and bad comfort food plus not being able to run due to a badly sprained ankle.

So for me, self care needs to be about caring for myself and my health / wellbeing. It may be tiny little things, but these will help me break bad habits. Time to love myself xxx
