I'll raise it at the meeting AC. Its amazing though how many weekends have natural conflicts with other "stuff" going on.

I realise you're never going to please all the people all the time, and it's no doubt complicated by our bizarre local situation where Shire schools seem to almost deliberately start/finish holidays a week apart from the rest of Scotland.
One of these years I'll make it

Also not me. Targetting Alloa and one year it took me nearly three weeks to get over Lasswade.
Planning Tay Ten two weeks after Alloa as my ten miler, double benefit from the training (Yes! I have actually done some). I'd better actually enter it sometime.

I wanted to run Lasswade, but it's my daughters 5th Birthday party. I didn't even attempt to get a pass ;). However, I did manage to get a pass today Jack Crawford 10k, should be fun running from Lenzie train station to Bishopbriggs so race will be part of a 17 mile run and a very heavy mileage period. Weather looks good though.

Aye, I stopped logging before the auto garmin thingy was implemented on the site. I think it was when I was injured and just never started again. It's all on garmin connect so I could get it from there but I'm just lazy. 😉. Last week was 126 miles just to give you a flavour. This week should be about 110 end then it's severe taper time for the 100km.
Noticed you are knocking out the miles, and pace, Baz. Sub 3 year for you on the cards I think.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
Not run the Jack Crawford race in a while, despite my efforts to find an excuse to visit the old home town. Seems like there is quite a bit more tarmac on the route now, though this year there should be plenty mud too.

Aye, mostly tarmac, there are some uneven sections where they are preparing to lay new tarmac, but the race is different from when I last did it. first 3k or so in an estate next to the leisuredome then onto the cancal to just beyond 'The Stables' then turn and back to Bishopbriggs. Managed to come in 3rd in 33:25 ish (results not out yet), so I am delighted with that as I sandwiched between a jog from Lenzie train station.
