I'm still waiting on a Kirkie T-shirt from 2 years ago. (Although as I found the race a fairly miserable experience, I'm not actually that disappointed.)

I hope that talking to me did not compound your miserable experience Dvorak!

Two of my favourite races, but I'll miss the Kirky one this year for the first time. OC would not allow me to miss Brodie (yes, I have signed up!).

Good luck to everyone taking on the GSR on Sunday, I'm pacing 45 minutes in the 10k so if you are after a new sub 45 PB follow me. I'll be hard to miss.

That nice weatherman seemed quite chirpy about the outlook for Sunday in Glasgow but not sure if that is a good sign or not.

There was Nelski on the telly! Feature piece in the Great Scottish Run coverage. 13:36 realtime on the online coverage (hopefully come up on the iPlayer as the online seems to have ceased).

Story on the charity he started to buy and use a Joƫlette running wheelchair, the first chair debuting at the Glasgow Half. He and team will probably be in the final miles just now. japes.scot

The West Highland Way Race
The Adventure Show, 2016/2017 Episode 3 of 9

The Adventure Show is at one of Scotland's most prestigious events, the gruelling West Highland Way race, which runs from Milngavie, on the outskirts of Glasgow, to Fort William. This 95-mile route takes most walkers a week to complete, but every year over 100 hardy runners turn Scotland's first official long-distance trail into an unforgettable ultra-marathon, with the fastest completing it in under 15 hours.
