Oh, that was meant for the Mundane thread, sorry.
Anyway, Dunfermline and Falkirk parkruns are cancelled tomorrow, can't recall if that was mentioned here. Gala Day in Dunfermline and a celebration of folk culture and tolerance* bringing 30 000 people to Falkirk. There will be fifty bands, myriad colourful banners on historical themes and traditional costumes. Bring the family! It will be a Grand day out.
*that's what the advert in the paper said, anyway. Although the tunes might be a bit repetitive. And I'd give it a miss if you don't like flutes, or favour the colour green.

Why can't they go and celebrate their culture somewhere else? Inchcolm Island, perhaps ?

That's a bit harsh, Soapy: what has the Gala Day done to you? You'll be insisting on a leaky boat next.
At the other event, I expect it will be all high spirits and bonhomie, what with the referendum result and England on the telly at night.

Taking part in the parkrun trial at Linwood tomorrow, looking forward to seeing the course, hopefully ok for running with a buggy when it's officially under way.
First run will be 9th July.
