Anyway, Dunfermline and Falkirk parkruns are cancelled tomorrow, can't recall if that was mentioned here. Gala Day in Dunfermline and a celebration of folk culture and tolerance* bringing 30 000 people to Falkirk. There will be fifty bands, myriad colourful banners on historical themes and traditional costumes. Bring the family! It will be a Grand day out. *that's what the advert in the paper said, anyway. Although the tunes might be a bit repetitive. And I'd give it a miss if you don't like flutes, or favour the colour green.

At the other event, I expect it will be all high spirits and bonhomie, what with the referendum result and England on the telly at night.

There are 26 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Ayr, Camperdown, Drumchapel, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Eglinton, Elgin, Ellon, Falkirk, Ganavan Sands, Greenock, Hazelhead, Inverness, Kirkcaldy, Linwood, Livingston, Perth, Pollock, Portobello, Springburn, St Andrews, Stonehaven, Strathclyde, Tollcross and Victoria.
