The boathouse to Dullatur section is still a muddy mess. The good thing about putting hard trail down is it'll stop the path getting wider and wider as folk try and avoid the mud.

On my ride from Falkirk wheel to Edinburgh I came across 2 gangs out working, levelling the surface, laying hardcore prior to the blacktop finish. I reckon only about 25% was tarmac. there's a lot to be done before it's finished

Not sure what an "electronic race pack" is, but I received an email with my race number on 10th March. You pick up actual number on the day.

email was from "StuWeb Race Timing" ( stuart@stuweb.co.uk ) if you want to check your Junk/Spam folders.

Registration from 8am, race at 10am

Has anyone here done the Tom Scott 10M with a GPS? Seems like most people only get 9.9M out of it once uploaded and I'm curious what the actual device measurement was as its often a wee bit longer (especially if you use 'smart' recording). Its just dawned on me that I could be denied a 'Garmin pb' unless I carry on running past the finish line ;-)

yeah ive done the Tom Scott 10 with a garmin, and always shows short on the gps, but as its a Scottish Athletics champ event I imagine that it will be accurately measured tho.
