I'm thinking of trying this. Tried a 90:30 which felt tougher than expected. The 30 seconds didn't seem long enough. Checking the Facebook page it seems like best to keep to only 30 seconds walking so change the 90 to 60 seconds running?

90:30 is my favorite ratio but I’m not fit for it right now so I’m going 60:60. I know some people find 30 is never enough. Give them both a try!

TBR..I’ve tried loads of different ratios. On Sunday I did GSR using 45:20, but I also use 60:30, 30:30, 40:20, 75:30 and 90:30. It’s really a case of trying different ones to see what suits you best. The main benefit is that I don’t feel as fatigued using run/walk as when I run straight through. |

I've been using 2/2 for weeks, but on Sunday changed to 2:30/1:30 and didn't feel any more tired, if anything it felt better.

30 seconds doesn't seem enough to me. I usually do 4:1 minutes.

Checking the Facebook page it seems like best to keep to only 30 seconds walking so change the 90 to 60 seconds running? Have you checked out the Jeff Galloway magic mile for ratios? They are just a guide but will get you started - also as others have said, have a play around but stick to 30s walk which is more of a glide in/out (no sudden stopping). If you feel you need more than 30s walk then slow your pace or reduce your run ratio. Have fun playing with the different ratios |

Tried 60:30 but was only for my 1 mile streak saver. Psychologically felt more comfortable but obviously need to try on a longer run.

Struggling with even 30:30 and 30:60 at the moment but have just downloaded this beginners programme which incorporates jeffing, so going to give that a go icanrunclub.co.uk |
