Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

*humble brag alert*
According to the tracker, I have all the days except the 6th. But I did run at least 6km so why is it missing?

It is because I was still out from a run I had started the day before. I went through the 95 mile checkpoint of the Thames Path 100 at about 2:30am and finished at 3:20am so ran at least 6km (5 miles) on the 6th (total time 19:40:44)

I managed just over 7km of recovery run on the 7th and have managed all the days since.

I will need to work out how to change my log if I’m still in it come the 30th...

I think the date is picked from the start of the run, so won't take account of a run that starts one day and ends another. Looks like you'll need to split the run so the second half starts on the 6th

Done. The next few days should be relatively easy before the time available vs distance challenge of next weekend culminating in next Monday’s 11km which google tells me is 6.84 miles... hmmm on a long day at work..🤔 do I get up early and get it done or hope I have the inclination to go out and finish the distance off after work? My hunch is if all else is equal to get it done first thing for the sake of say 10mins longer in bed, as my preference is always to go out first thing. Invariably if I ‘leave’ My run until later I cba to actually go out, especially if knackered post-work ;-)

Sigh
@NDWDave, since we all know you did the ultra, another option could be to add an artificial 6km run to your log for the 6th, and then delete it again on 1st October. Better than splitting the race result.

Panad - how about splitting it into two shorter runs, one morning the other evening that total 11km?

Yes, TR, I think that has more of a chance of happening than leaving the whole 11km for after work, as although the incentive of being so near would probably get me out, to have half of it done would be even closer - and more annoying if I didn’t just finish it off..

Well I'm at my half way turn round point. No sign of Mrs Jigs or V'rap. Hope they're not lost.

Indulge me by letting me share a couple of photos of this spot. It's my favourite place for getting a bit of perspective.
