Razor Robertson from the Crusaders is tipped by many to be the next England coach and has ambitions to coach internationally, or there’s Steve Borthwick at Leicester or Rob Baxter at Exeter both of whom would be strong contenders if an English coach was preferred.

Re replacement, I’ve heard they’re sounding out Scott Robertson. I wish EJ would get put out to grass now, but I think he’s conned the RFU into believing he has some World Cup master plan which is being kept under wraps until the tourno itself.
