Long Eaton Ladies carried on where they left off last season with a 43 - 17 win against Cannock Lionesses in the Women's NC1 Midlands. It could be mini Nico's last run out for the club for some time, she's off to Loughborough Uni on Wednesday. |

Don't know, probably a 5 point walkover for the opposition. May well be that going into administration and finding a buyer would get the suspension lifted so might not apply for too many rounds. If they're not forcibly relegated,35 points penalty makes no odds this season as there's no relegation until next season.

Results will just be expunged. Hopefully a buyer will be found but pro rugby is not sustainable in its current form in England. Most clubs are reliant on sugar daddies and the likes of Saracens (and other clubs/leagues) pushing the wage bills up drastically has moved the goalposts even further. As soon as the investor loses money/patience/interest/dies the clubs are in immediate trouble. Some of the decisions by clubs like Wuss and Jaspers have been odd though bringing in big name players on (presumably) huge salaries. All the time the Test nations (particularly the SH nations + Wales) are trying to bring in more and more games to capture a bigger share of the revenue and stretching the resource and patience of fans further and further |

Nicholls595 I saw the ladies in action briefly on Sunday - glad to see they won. I was a bit concerned about the player they carried off for treatment - I hope they were ok.

I think the girl's dad was more concerned than she was. Drove his BMW X5 almost onto the pitch rather than wait for an ambulance he had rung for. "Only" looked like knee ligament damage.
