There is a winding up petition from the taxman, said to be 6 million in owed tax, also a gov loan to pay back and it seems the owners are separating out adjacent property from the assets of the club.

Doesn't look good.

More a case of financially incompetent arseholes. If it had been run with proper financial oversight they wouldn't need to split of anything of value. (And given they are their own assets in the first place it's not really asset stripping. More tax avoidance ;-) ).

watched my first couple of games yesterday. The U18s beat a strong Dundee side 38-14 followed by the 1st XV triumphing majestically against Deeside. The young lad had a good game for the U18s: started at 7 and was fast away with a couple of really good turnovers to his credit alongside strong support to the runners, subbed off after 60mins only to be brought back on 10 mins later as the "hooker" when the opposition couldn't provide a replacement scrum specialist and so scrums became uncontested.

And it was so warm. Almost too hot for spectating!! B-) :)
