Bath fan? I think you should have got Steve Diamond in to crack a few heads together.

If it's any consolation Rich - we went through the same sort of processes before finally coming to our senses, appointing Borthwick and letting him sort out his team.
Seems to be working for us :)

And yes ooofff re Jason Robinson's lad

Bath playing a lot better than previous few weeks, taking scrum and lineout penalties off Exeter. Still 13 each. Liking Spencer’s crisp delivery from the base too.

Must say Rokoduguni has terrible positioning in defence. Expect he’ll score the winning try though.

Watching Ospreys v Connacht and Mrs DB decides that the reffing is crap and no longer worth watching the match.
The Ref team decided that a nothing tackle was worth a penalty try and a yellow card to which Mrs DB cried "They are absolutely killing the game"

Look out for a Rassie Erasmus type video highlighting the poor reffing from Mrs DB in a few days lol

I didnt see that match but will make a generic comment/rant.

I dislike immensely when people say the referee ruined the match. Okay, refs can make poor decisions that can affect the game but they have often been put in that position by the players decision making. Players going into tackles too high or leading with the head/shoulder or through not being observant (eyes on the ball is a nonsense justification, you need to be aware of your surroundings) make the ref make a decision.

99% of the time it is the players not the referee who have ruined the game but you rarely hear people say that.

Also the Rassie type videos I would give more credence to if they pointed out errors they benefitted from, their intention is to form a narrative for the next game. Rassie should have been banned for far longer IMO, his behaviour is nothing short of disgraceful.

Whilst on the Rassie subject WR need to get rid of all the watercarriers as well. It's got ridiculous with people emerging on the pitch at every single break all microphoned up passing on instructions. In the England v SAfrica game they were ignoring the refs instructions to leave the pitch as well.

I'd pretty much agree with that, especially the last point. It's getting to the point where there are more support staff on the pitch than players at event the slightest interruption in play.

In hot climates I can see the need for water, so maybe it should be a single member of the, say, the groundstaff who can bring water on but not communicate. Or it could even be an honourary role such a bit like the mascots.

I watched the Prem highlights last night and was impressed with Mark Atkinson at 12. Very similar to Andre Esterheizun at quins, great power runner, off loads in the tackle, good distribution skills. Not sure if he’s as good over the ball as AE.

Struck me that he could be an alternative to the perennially crocked MT, he played a bit against Tonga but I wonder if he will get an outing in the Six Nations. That said I’d happily see Slade and Marchant again.
