A disappointing couple of results for Bristol against Exeter and Sale. Ii wonder if tactics backfired. The Bears put in a strong side against a second string Exeter and lost. Today they fielded a second string against a Sale side and came off second best.
Me thinks (with hindsight) maybe it would have been better to put out the weaker side against Exeter and a strong side to take on Sale, and probably pick up one win from the two heats rather than none.
Still, I guess it shows ambition to go for two out of two, especially when three games have to be played in nine days.
Several new Bears got blooded today so it has had benefits.

20000 fans will be allowed to England v Barbarians at Twickenham on October 24th. I ought to be one of them however my ex who bought the tickets for my Xmas present is refusing to log in to request the new tickets.
Just wanted to have a rant about that.
