Sarriies seem to have just given up.

I think we are just useless TR, starting with the coach and including many of the players. We need an end-of-season fire sale.

Briz with some interesting signings for next year. They are the one team that has had space (and budget) on their salary cap and might have the freedom to pick up some of the Sarries offloads, Earl is being heavily rumoured currently

Yep Briz are doing an Exeter, quite frankly it's good to see.

Happy with our win over quin's. Some second stringers put their hands up, not perfect and we nearly let it go bit I'll take that. Couple of tough games ahead mind, we'll be back in 6th in a fortnight, but with the ability to build once the 6n is done.

I have no idea what Jones is doing in terms of this 'playing people out of position' business - but it seemed to work last weekend.

Reading the Guardian today they suggest he's looking to go for a 'number on your back doesn't matter' effort ( "total rugby?" perhaps) I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with that idea

But Rugby (Union) has been heading that way for years now, surely? Forwards expected to contribute with ball in hand, and backs expected to hit rucks. And I would think League has been this way for many years already since there was almost no reason not to - scrums not being serious :-) and no line-outs.

Admiring the skill level of NZ forwards, and Fijians' comfort with ball in hand, is basically just a stpp down the same road, no? I loved that Japan at the World Cup, and Fiji (generally, for years now), move the ball away from a breakdown as soon as it's available. Irrelevant of whether the guy passing it has 9 on his back, or 4.

Hate to have to say things like this but last night and today's results have done is a massive favour
