Baths pitch is so bad, what’s the point of having a decent outside backline when it’s like playing in the Somme.
A hybrid pitch is desperately needed if they redevelop the Rec. If I was Jonathan Joseph (who I have long felt to be a flat track bully, great at getting hat tricks against Italy and what was a poor Scotland in 2017), I’d be wondering I bother doing any footwork drills, and looking to move to Bristol!
Not a Bath fan but I think I’ve decided to not bother watching BT sport if Bath are at home except at the start and end of the season.

If I remember rightly, Barf have significant problems with theWreck, what they can and can't do development-wise etc. But they’re also short of viable alternatives so remain a bit stuck.
Hybrid pitch isn’t the be all and end all either. Seen pictures of one this week that was affected by flooding: looked like ripples on a sandy sea-bed. Worse than any pitch I’ve ever seen.

the Wreck saga is ridiculously long and even more boring. A false pitch, in the short term is not an option. and personally i'm not a huge fan of them anyway.
The proximity of the Avon ensures It's always a bit boggy.
But hey the best player adapt not rely on bullshit pitches.

New podcast (or rather, Dodcast) started today. Not heard it all through yet but the start is promising.

Anyone fancy Leicester to outplay Quins tomorrow in the big game at Twickenham (on council telly as well as BT I think)

I’ve come up North for Edinburgh v Glasgow at Murrayfield, with a. Bit of Hospitality thrown in. Let’s see how much Scotrail can put a downer on travel there and back from Hamilton.

You can pretty much guarantee that Scotrail will manage to pour misery on your day at any given opportunity...
Game should be good though!
