Nice pic NDW. I've skied in Mayerhofen a few times and like it a lot. Recently I wondered what the running would be like there. Did you find many options?

Very roughly speaking, the route shown is the only option in Mayrhofen! (Though I used a path by the side of the river.) The picture illustrates why.

Fair enough Chris, thanks. That's a pity. From my 23/3 pic of the day you'll see I'll take on a reasonable amount of elevation but the tracks/trails/minor roads need to be there.

I'm wondering if Fetch is experiencing some ultra-short term nostalgia for the snowy days of a few weeks ago, or just clearing the decks before all the pictures are of spring?

(Having typed that, up here the spring-like days are still in notably short supply.)

As the pics arrive, I decide whether they're up to it or not, and slot them in at the back of the queue. So it's particularly noticeable when there's been some snow.
