The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

I've spent some time working on an updated version of the route mapper - it's not live yet, but you can have a go here:

Let me know what you think. It should work better on mobile. No new functionality yet, just a bit of a tidy up.

So it is :-) The check box thingy to turn the details off goes off the bottom of the screen a bit now though.

It looks good on my laptop, nice and big.
Only minor niggle is that switching off/on "follow roads" and other buttons at the top and using +/- you still have to jiggle the screen up and down.
