Enjoyed yesterday's Glen Ogle pic.
Cod Beck is a lovely spot, when it's not crowded with day trippers! This particular photo was taken in December on a bloody cold but totally glorious day.

Gorgeous one today.
Does anyone sigh, all disappointed, when you click on the photo to see the route and realise it is absolutely nowhere near you.

Know what you mean Star, there have been some crackers recently. Reminds me to take my gear whenever I'm visiting a new place so I can check it out. Such a thrill when you find a goodie. I do love my regular haunts though.

Lunan Bay is gorgeous I took my folks up there one time, we had a picnic on the dunes then I threw a blanket over them (it was still a Scottish summer's day, after all ;-)) and went down and ran barefoot across the sand.
(Where I was surprised to find a secret music festival setting up at one end of the beach.)

The dunes are like mountains in places! It was a very tough session. I loved running along the beach and I would recommend a trip Star, but the fab café is closed until March. We had a lovely lunch there afterwards but they said they shut for the rest of Jan and Feb.

Smashing cityscape today: "An ever-muttering prisoned storm/The heart of London beating warm." So wrote the Victorian Scottish poet John Davidson.
