Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Which distance are you doing, JB?

I'm ticking over reasonably well. One half marathon at PMP, one 12 mile training run, one raced parkrun, some shrapnel and some walking and cycling.

Half. It's a staging post before London in Oct. Allegedly...

I’m doing the half too, JB. But I’ve strangely planned it that I’m doing Ashby Twenty 5 weeks before. I don’t know that that is the best planning! 😜 Time will tell.

How’s it going?

My training starts properly this week. Did a conversational pace half with a mate last week - longest run since my first marathon in Nov and a nice confidence booster. Looking forward to staring the weekly speed sessions. 🤢

Good stuff, ES-335 :)

I'm in a four week gap between shorter target races and am using it to get some miles under my belt. My working hours mean that I can do a two hour run at a civilised time of day three or four times a week, but fitting in longer runs would be more difficult.

I'm doing the half marathon on that date because my target marathon isn't until October.

Hope your training goes well.

Starting week 5 all going ok so far. I’ll report back after my 14 on Thursday as that will be my furthest for a while.

How’s everyone doing?
After a decent “for me 20” on the 6th my last long run of 15 was awful. Dreading the 18 this weekend. Tempted to drop to the half but also don’t want to waste 10 weeks of Long runs.
