And I’ll hopefully sort out some photos in the gallery soon-ish, so you can see how good you all looked after 12 / 25 miles ;)

Well done everyone. This was my second marathon and I beat my PB by 10 mins and got the sub4 with 5 mins to spare.

Quite an odd course with a few more hills than I anticipated and I didn’t enjoy the greenway. Not the best surface and dusty. Quite a ‘country’ smell on the first lap. The second time round I just didn’t want to be there so didn’t notice any smells.

You were close to me, ES-335, maybe that was the smell ;) And also just behind Oscar the Grouch. We probably all saw you come in.

Haha - it was definitely the fields - just realised what a grumpy ‘townie’ post that is. I’ll blame the head and body taking a battering!

I guess I enjoyed it the support was great and it was a well organised event, and can’t complain I got my target.

Just seen your time a page or two back - yes you finished a couple of mins before me - great time.

Sushi.
Really enjoyed it despite my back.

Fabulous mini Fetchpoint at the end of the Greenway.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) I was so pleased to see you just after 24m marker. That mile you ran with me really gave me a boost to the finish.

What a lovely well organised event. Great rolling, undulating course. Definitely good for a pb if your not under trained with a dodgy back.
