Wobbling
I've been working on the rules for sleeping as an Olympic sport since 2012 but I'm kinda stuck on how you would prevent 'closing eyes & pretending' as a major cheat strategy. Anyway, once it becomes an Olympic event, I'm pretty much a cert for a medal.

Going back to the Modern Pentathlon origin
The modern pentathlon simulates the experience of a 19th-century cavalry soldier behind enemy lines: he/she must ride an unfamiliar horse, fight with pistol and sword, swim, and run. Therefore, the modern pentathlon event comprises the five sport disciplines:
épée fencing
pistol shooting
200 metre freestyle swimming
show jumping on horseback
3 km cross country running is being replaced by track event in 2016.
they seem to have omitted the 6th event which is to seduce the heroine, now that would make it more interesting.

The 2016 ultra modern pentathlon would probably include catching a Pokemon.

BMX could be in modern pentathlon as the guys on those bikes look like some you see on police interceptors. Or you could have a kieran event with the lead guy on one of those chav style mini motorbikes
