My Lush solid bar is slowly turning into its gritty constituents. It had a thin wax coating to make a 'handle' but it's slowly eroding away. I'll continue using it until I can't any more...it works well, and not all deodorants work for me.

V23.. Not heard of Fit Pit but just had a look online and ordered 100ml of the Fit Pit Man. Supposedly 3 months supply. If it does work that wouldn't be a bad price for 3 months. Will feed back...

That's a great article Lizzie.
One of my bug-bears is the multi-buy plastic packaging. If 3 or 4 are cheaper then the modern tills can work it out without having to wrap 3 or 4 tins or whatever together.

It was me, I make my own deodorant with very similar ingredients to fit pit. I use beeswax which is no good for vegans but there is a soy wax. I might experiment with adding aloe Vera to my my next batch.

I need to try your deodorant recipe SS.

The shampoo from heavenly organics is primarily bicarb and I have definitely seen a recipe for similar shampoo - was it run free’s blog? *goes to check*

Poppies - if you take them in to Sainsbury's before 30th November, the Royal British Legion will recycle them (stem and button for next year, paper bits to recycling).

Thanks run free. I found that blog. It doesn’t have what I thought I was looking for but it did lead me to a shampoo recipe (via SS’s blog)
