That there was a time in my life when Slade and "Happy Christmas Everybody" hadn't been foisted on an unsuspecting world.

Yesterday I was grateful for a nice walk, getting the Christmas shopping finished and Love Actually heart

Today that all the baking was successful, my mum appears to be on good form and is talking to me and that the packing is pretty much done and I can relax a bit.

Good news about your mum HP.

Yesterday I was grateful for a lovely evening out with my sister and her OH, and today that I get to catch up with my best mate over coffee later.

Pleased to hear about your Mum, HP.

It was lovely to watch TRC with LittleD as she had read the book. She said she was desparate to find out what a petticoat was :)

And yes, I cried when Father appeared out of the smoke at the end :)

Today I was grateful for unexpected fun washing the car with LittleD

Some catching up.

Xmas Eve I was grateful for a safe journey including a stop off at my aunty for tea & cakes. Also for a great view of the ISS.
Christmas Day - grateful for my lovely gifts, especially a new copy of to kill a mockingbird from QP. Also for a drama free day and everyone being happy. Oh and a lovely walk and quick cuppa with friends.

Boxing Day - a chilled day including a cold, crisp walk.

Yesterday for an afternoon just me and the boy. That QP got some lovely clothes in the sales and for a play at the climbing wall.

Also need to catch up.

Christmas Eve that the family meal went smoothly and that OH was understanding.
Christmas Day for looking at the stars.
Boxing Day for a walk in the rain.
Yesterday that I finally started to feel better.
Today for nice sunshine.

Yesterday I was really grateful for some time with a friend, her 4 kids and husband. A lovely, if slightly rowdy lunch and a walk. Also for a catch up with my dad's oldest friend and his wife - such lovely people.

Today I am grateful my son has successfully negotiated 12 years of life :)

Lots to catch up on! Christmas Eve I was grateful to leave work early and go for a swim with OH. Christmas Day for a lovely lunch at brother in law's and that everyone got on well. Grateful for a lazy day on Boxing Day watching films with OH. On Saturday I was grateful for an unexpected catch up with a friend, and yesterday for a lovely cycle ride with my OH out to Epping Forest followed by a delicious Thai meal :)

Sounds like everyone else has had a good Christmas, excellent! And happy birthday to QP!
