Thought I would be clever and look up books on Amazon but they don’t give proper info so going to have to Google each
I seem to have loads in the 2010+
Can’t recall much from my youth!

so many gaps in my early years as I can't recall what I was reading
well I read the Lord Peter Whimsey books - but they were written 40 years before me!
And War and Peace etc will be too early too!!
I might have to investigate the library or it could be expensive

I have loads of books that I gave to charity shops, plus lots of others littered about, I may incorporate those into my list, maybe not as I think most are recent, which is well covered anyway. My gaps are the 60s and 70s, which I still need to have a good think about....

I got as far as 1967-1979 and then kind of lost interest a bit. Have done some random years after this but maybe now's a good time to pick this up again. If anyone's interested here is my list of books I've finished:

1967: Flann O’Brien - The Third Policeman
1968: Dick Francis - Forfeit
1969: George MacDonald Fraser - Flashman
1970: Susan Hill - I’m The King Of The Castle
1971: Frederick Forsyth - Day of the Jackal
1972: Richard Adams - Watership Down
1973: Graham Greene - The Honorary Consul
1974: John Le Carre - Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
1975: Tom Sharpe - Blott On The Landscape
1976: Roger Zelazny & Philip K Dick - Deus Irae
1977: Philip K Dick - A Scanner Darkly
1978: Larry Niven - The Magic Goes Away
1979: V S Naipaul - A Bend In The River

1998: Without Prejudice - Nicola Williams

2003: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie - Purple Hibiscus
2004: Alan Hollinghurst - The Line Of Beauty
2005: Karen Jay Fowler - The Jane Austen Book Club
2006: Will Self - The Book Of Dave
2007: Moshin Hamid - The Reluctant Fundamentalist
