Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Were they all about a minute apart, or more spread out, or all with the same timestamp?

Sorry not to have taken part in the trial - I'm one of those that probably needs an email saying get off the site and get on with the work you are supposed to be doing so I'm afraid an email that encourages me to return to the site is a terrible idea. But I'm prepared to accept that for those who perhaps only visit the site once or twice a month and not once or twice an hour it was probably great. thank your for another 'thing' even it I didn't make use of it

Oh, do you have to have the 'you can contact me' thing ticked? I guess so.

It worked for me... I only got one confirmation email through.

It's a good idea, though I doubt I'd use it normally. I'd maybe like some way of updating the race results when logging the run through "Add training run"? But that's just an idea :-)

Pudd - yep :-)

Gee - that'd be good too - I've thought about it before - I've hesitated because it might get confusing for people who expect to see the same thing in the same place every time. I'd also like people to be able to put race reports and attach pictures to the emails.

Apologies Lord F, military DII Protocols won't allow anything other than Release-authorised: in the Subject line. Wish I coul have seen it in action!

Not quite true Mac. Anything after "release-authorised:" gets sent through while the "release-authorised:" bit gets stripped off once released to the 'net.
