Just a suggestion. There's good WAVA analysis of race performances in the race section of the site, but it'd be nice to see a graph which took a handful of the most popular race distances (e.g. 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5k, 10k, 10 mile, Half, 20 mile, Marathon) and simply reported the best WAVA grade that you'd achieved at each distance. It would be a nice straightforward graph and would clearly show which distances we are theoretically "under" or "over" performing at based on WAVA alone. At the moment, the WAVA table http://www.fetcheveryone.com/wava_yourbest.php misses out "WAVA PBs" in lieu of actual time PBs, meaning that as we age and slow that table becomes fixed in the past. This could be just me missing something already presented, of course! |

No, you're right, something I noticed the other day. My WAVA PBs are now off the top off the table for some distances - it ought to be calibrated on WAVA score, not absolute PB.
