see, comments like that prove your here just to cause ructions, go back to where you came from, people on this site tend to be helpful without the need to patronise

unfortunate we dont have an ignore button on here just yet, so i guess i'll just have to impose it myself

Boab - from the Triathlon Book...

"When your foot goes down you have to reduce the impact on the ground by decelerating it. You accomplish this by giving the pull command to yourself before the foot actually touches the ground. Literally say to yourself, "Pull!" before the foot touches the ground

Doing so decelerates the foot from the pull of gravity allowing it to touch the ground with almost zero speed.

This is what makes our landing and running silent and soft - reducing impact during the landing phase.

This reinforces a very key concept: on the subconscious level landing should be pulling. There is a natural conflict between having your foot in the air and having it on the ground.

In Pose running, as soon as you have pulled one foot from the ground, your attention must immediately shift to the other foot, you don't want to be thinking: 'land', you want to be thinking 'pull' Your priority is not to land; it is always to pull, otherwise you introduce an extra element into the cycle, which throws your technique out of rhythm. Instead of Pose-Fall-Pull, you'll complicate the process and begin to Pose-Fall-Land-Pul, and so on........."

Don't give nippy just because I'm throwing out the concept, doesn't matter how fast a person gets it, the concept doesn't change. All that can be said is is what is said, if someone can give him some hands on (oooo matron) then more the better, but there is nothing else. We can't will it upon him to get it and playing carebears isn't my game because it doesn't help. He didn't ask for a shoulder to cry on and huggles, he asked for confirmation of the idea. Get a grip, love. Boab is big enough and ugly enough to understand, and from what I've seen will give me a crack back if he feels like it, so wind your neck in.

Oh and the nibble nibble nibble wasn't because I was deliberately fishing, but if you walk by a line with an aggressive one on the end, the urge is going to win.

I'm good thanks. Trying to weigh up Chi and POSE and watch a good scrap. Who said men couldn't multi-task?

Are you back running? I miss your early morning posts.
